​ St Mary in the Willows is home to Andrew and Lynne. The land was inherited in 1997 when the owner "Betty" died. Andrew has been coming here since he was ten years old, helping the owner to manage her "Estate" which back then consisted of,  seven dogs, twenty cats, four goats and three geese, etc.

In 2003 a replacement dwelling ushered in a new era at St Mary in the Willows. Surrounded by countryside and adjacent to Aylesbeare Common, Andrew & Lynne have surrounded themselves with animals and set about making a living based from their home.

Before they met, Lynne,  worked as a self employed  Hair Stylist in Bristol.  A dog owner herself, Lynne had a passion for animals. Lynne volunteered at Bristol RSPCA Dogs Home, walking Dogs, and Home Checking.

Animal Welfare has always been central to St Mary in the Willows from the past to the present day.  Our home is a place for people and animals alike. Our vision for the future is to raise funds for animals that are not as fortunate as our own. ​
